About me
I appreciate your interest in wanting to know more about me. My name is Elgardo Rivera and I am a mostly self-taught visual artist with an interest in photography based out of the Lehigh Valley in Pennsylvania, nestled right between New York City and Philadelphia.
My interest in the visual arts began when I was in kindergarten with drawings, pastel paintings while transitioning to photography with perhaps video and animation in the future. It’s been a challenge more so with me being colorblind, which can impair my editing ability when trying to output colors that are true to life. But I’m not letting that stop me.
With the goal being expression, I feel free to take risks, explore and evolve in ways that are rather deeply human not just to me but to the audience.
